Introduction to Sea Kayaking  

1 day course for paddlers who want to specialise in sea kayaking.

You will learn the essential knowledge of the sea and the kayak handling techniques specific to salt water. The course will be based at Brixham in South Devon, an ideal venue in which to explore the south Devon coastline.

Previous experience: none at sea but a confident flat water paddler with the ability to move your kayak with ease.

2 day introduction to Sea Kayaking.

This course gives you more time to learn the skills. It also gives you an opportunity to incorporate a coastal trip along the Devon coast.

Sea Kayaking Expeditions

Multi day expeditions including overnight camping on secluded beaches. Recent trips have been Plymouth to Brixham, Lundy, Around Isle of Wight, Minehead to Woolacombe, Pembroke.  

All the courses are tailor made for what the paddler wants.I don't do big courses. If you book in on a course it will be for you alone unless you bring others on to the course. 

Cost per day.

£75  per person fully inclusive for groups of 2 to 3. 

£130 for one to coaching.

Discount for advanced bookings of six weeks or more.

 I will provide sea kayak, paddle, spraydeck, buoyancy aid, canoe cag & dry bags.

You will need to bring wetsuit or clothes, footwear and a packed lunch.
